National Nutrition Month!!!

Yay!!! Let’s get excited and use this month to be the time to jump start better eating (for those swimsuit bodies this summer), get moving, and maybe even “re-start” those New Year’s Resolutions that we all know have been forgotten…


What’s your goal for the month? Don’t have one? Here are some ideas:

1. Move 10 minutes more than I usually do each day. (this means that you get your heart rate up…not to the fridge and back…)

2. Eat 2 more servings of fruit and vegetables each day.

3. Limit sweetened beverages to 3 times/week. (including soda, coffee with syrups/sugar, sweet tea, lemonade, etc.)

4. Limit fruit juice to 4 oz.per day. (This is especially important for children)

5. Try a new exercise class… yoga?? 🙂

6. Try a new whole grain.

These goals are endless.
